2011 HPD Honda CR-Z Racer and CR-Z Hybrid R Concept
HPD Honda CR-Z Hybrid Concept R and Racer is the addition of supercharger and upgraded IMA hybrid system allows the output of 200 HP with 175 lb-ft of torque. Increasing power demands various other mechanical tweaks, so HPD Honda CR-Z Hybrid Concept R and Racer receive stiff suspension, limited slip differential, brakes better, performance clutch and a new body part that increases the aerodynamic constraints.
Both vehicles share many performance enhancements, with the CR-Z Hybrid Concept R Honda-styling highlights the road was designed and HPD CR-Z Racer choose to serious racing skills. To demonstrate that ability, HPD will campaign two HPD CR-Z Racers in 25 Hours Thunderhill endurance race in December. HPD enhancements for both cars includes: turbocharger and IMA hybrid system upgrade, resulting in a combined estimated 200 horsepower and 175 lb-ft. torque, clutch performance, limited-slip differential, suspension ‘circuit-tuned’; upgraded brakes and aerodynamic components.
