At City Car Concept Lotus engine has the power that comes from the electric motor. Electric power produces 72-hp and 177 lb-ft of torque. Weighing in at less than £ 3,086 (not very Lotus-like), Car City has the capability to run 0-62 mph in 9 seconds with a top speed of 106 mph. With a full charge its battery 14.8 kWh, compact urban vehicle can travel a total of 37 miles to the charge runs out. When the battery runs out, flex-fuel 1.2L 3-cylinder engine kicks in to make the range of 47-hp and increased to 310 miles.
