2010 Toyota Matrix
The Matrix is Toyota’s compact hatchback, assembled by New United Motor Manufacturing, Inc. (NUMMI) in Fremont, California. The Toyota Matrix is essentially a hatchback version of the Corolla sedan with a high of whose shares the platform, although shorter and have a more flexible interior thanks to its hatchback design.
There are two different models on offer, whether it came with a 1.8 liter engine. There is a basic version with 130 horsepower and high performance model with 180 horsepower called the XRS. A second generation was introduced for 2009 complete with a new look, more standard safety features, and more power on tap from an engine 158 horsepower 2.4-liter. The basic model followed by a 1.8 liter engine, while the new S and XRS variant shows 2.4-liter engine. All-wheel drive option is also back with a new model.
Few changes were introduced in 2010 Toyota Matrix. Base models have a 132 engine horsepower four-cylinder 1.8-liter, while the S and XRS models get a 2.4-liter engine makes 158 more horsepower. The model’s most fuel efficient 1.8-liter model is equipped with a manual five-speed standard. This returns the EPA-rated 26 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway. Time as an option is a four-speed automatic.
